My Golf has fault codes in memory for catalytic converter being bad and cooling system malfunction. How much is the catalytic converter going to cost? I have replaced the temp sensor and waterpump and I still have the fault in memory. Any ideas?
What year and engine does your Golf have? Some of the vehicles have a software update dealing with false p0420 cat faults that are addressed by the dealer updating your engine computer software. This would be considered a recall and covered for free by your local dealership.
I have the 2.0 liter engine.
