my transmission does not work right. It doesn't change the gear an time if a go slow.
Make Audi A4 1997 1.8T AWD automatic. If a drive fast everything is good, but when I drive in the city it’s a problem, the RPM gets to 3.5 on the 3rd gear and is not changing for a wile. Actually if I drive on a plane road is not very bad but when I am at the hill the RPM gets to 4 or more. I changed the fluid at the shop, but this didn’t help. The guy from the shop told me the TCM is not sending the signal on time to the transmission. If I want to by a used TCM does the part number have to matches EXACTLY or there are some compatibilities with other models.
