On the way to work today my car overheated. I pulled over, waited a bit, and continued my drive home no problem. Could it be the thermostat or the radiator fans?
What are you basing the overheating on, did you see steam coming from the engine bay, did the temperature needle rise, did the overheat light on the instrument panel just blink, etc?
The overheat light blinked and the temp guage went all the way up.
Ok, so we have a definite overheater here. I forgot to ask before, what year and model do you have as well as what engine.
I have a 02 Jetta, not sure what engine but it is just a base model.
